חַדִּת, חַדֵּית= h. חִדֵּש 1) to renew, restore. Targ.Targ. 1 Sam. 11:14; a. fr.Targ. O. Deut. 32:12, v. infra. 2) to add something new, to change; to make an exception. Targ. Y. Lev 27:34 (v. חָדַש, Pi. 3); a. e.Keth.45a ח׳ רחמנא the biblical text states au exceptional law. Ithpa. אִתְחַדֵּת to be renewed (v. חָדַש). Targ. O. Deut. 32:12 לאִתְחַדָּתָא ed. Berl.
